Western Carolina Football Signs 17 on National Signing Day
Cullowhee, N.C. - Western Carolina first-year head coach Dennis Wagner today announced the addition of two players to his inaugural signing class for next fall. Wide receiver Anthony Amos (Fayetteville, N.C. / Westover HS) and defensive back Jarmarcus Douglas (Laurinburg, N.C. / Scotland County HS) each signed National Letters of Intent to join the Catamount football program.
Fans and supporters of Western Carolina football can meet Coach Wagner and his new staff at a special drop-in reception tonight (Tuesday, Feb. 19) at Nick & Nate's in downtown Sylva. The event, which is free to the public, will run from 5:00 until 8:00 pm.
If you can not make it to Nick & Nate's on Tuesday, select members of the Catamount coaching staff will also be participating in several additional scheduled WCU Alumni / Western Club events across the region over the next month, with a few additional dates to be scheduled after Spring Practice, which runs March 31 through April 19:

Thurs., March 13 - Triad Western Club - OutWest Steakhouse in Kernersville, N.C., 6-8 pm
