CULLOWHEE, N.C. - Western Carolina women's basketball junior center Brooke Johnson is the latest guest featured at the NCAA Double-A Zone.com podcast Campus Connection.
The Double-A Zone caught up with Johnson to discuss the injury, her rehab plans and what it was like to watch from the sidelines this season.
Johnson played 11 games for Western Carolina in 2007-08 and still ended the year as the team's leading scorer averaging 11.9 points per game. In her brief time on the court, Johnson was Southern Conference Player of the Week, Southern Conference Player of the Month for November, named to the Minnesota Subway Classic and Paradise Classic All-Tournament teams; pulled down a career-high 20 rebounds against Middle Tennessee on December 2, and was an ESPN The Magazine District III Second Team Academic All-American.
